The strategic transformation
Just to be clear from the beginning, this blog is mainly about Leadership. The science of Leadership is complex and I must admit that for me, personally, it is fascinating. I used to think about it, learn it and apply it since I was a child, at that time without knowing that it was called like that.
In october 2013 I discovered a short report from the Hay Group about Leadership and about how the most successful companies are changing their Leadership approach in order to adapt to the change.
Please find the report here: Strategic Transformation.
I found the report very pertinent. Food for thought for many of us, as we are are all actually going in that particular direction from technological, social and human point of view.

Technology, Growth, Simplicity and Source
The truth is that the world is changing so rapidly with all this technological boom, that every person is trapped into an evolving and very complex game. Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Smartphones, Tablets, High Speed Internet connections - those seems to be simply just the beginning.
I remember a discussion about technology that I had with a former colleague of mine in Struer, Denmark, back in 1999, right before the dot com crisis. At that time I was working as a software engineer, programming in Modula 2 to implement an Intelligent Network project for a big multinational company, using a proprietary RTOS. At that time it was so shocking to me the big shift provoked by the technology to our day to day life and I was trying to find out the root cause for such shift.
Today we can see that the time when the cars will be self driven is very close. The revolutions in politics, leadership and mass media are obvious. All these changes are fundamentally provoked by the technology shift.
You see now what I am trying to articulate? Probably not. So here it is the sense of wonder that I will bring into this game. Where does this technology comes from?
There is no wrong answer. And probably there is no right answer to this question. However, it is clear to me that we are all working for the change and, in fact, we are every single day the change agents.
Considering the general Growth that is happening in interaction, communication, collaboration, information sharing, openess and artificial barriers removal, there is no other way than adapting ourselves to the world. The organization strategy is set for Growth. Thus the individual strategy must be set for Growth.
Let's add some Simplicity into the complex equation of Growth. The simplest way to adapt yourself to Growth is to feel the Growth. To do that, we need to understand that in all our actions we have to get aligned with the Source. It requires intelligence, integrity,
collaboration and last but not least an increased level of Trust.
